How to transfer at the UIB

The R&D+i contracting process between the UIB and third parties.

An initial contact of a company or researcher with the FUEIB sets the beginning of this process. No matter if an agreement proposal or just a project proposal is available; the OTRI will need the following information in order to do the corresponding revision:
- Parties: name of the company and the research team implied
- Subject of the agreement
- Technical and economic report of the project implied

Once the information regarding the collaboration agreement is received, it would be revised to determine the type of collaboration required (for example: collaborative R&D+i contract, research agreement, sponsorship agreement, etc.).

If no agreement proposal is available, a sample UIB agreement will be provided to the parties, all the information available being filled out. Both the researcher and the company are supposed to revise and do the necessary corrections in the above mentioned document.

In case an agreement proposal has been already drawn up, a detailed revision would be performed by the FUEIB in accordance with the UIB agreement samples. A new revised document will be sent back to the parties.

When the final, revised by all parties, document is returned to the FUEIB, a formal technical and financial revision will be done. In case no mistakes are found, the final document will be remitted to the parties for a signature. Otherwise the FUEIB will inform the parties on the faults found so that the contents of the document be rectified.

At the reception of the signed copies the document will be sent for the Rector’s signature. Once the contract is signed, all parties will be advised to pick up their copy.
